If you are thinking about parachute jumps or wanting to buy an unusual gift for a relative or friend (the best gift a person can get), you are probably asking yourself the following questions!
Here are some of the most frequently asked questions:
How old is "too old" to Skydive?
There is no "too old" in Skydiveing. There is only determination and every average healthy person can do it. A tandem jump does not require a medical examination and if you are in doubt about your health it is sufficient to consult a GP.
How long does the jump take?
Jumping is an all-day activity so we recommend not to make any plans for the rest of the day, other than celebrating after the jump.
Pre-jump training lasts about fifteen minutes. The tandem instructor explains what to expect during the jump. Flying with the plane to reach 3000 meters above airfield takes about 40 minutes, 40 seconds freefall and flying with open canopy it is about 4 minutes.
It is usually done in 2-3 hours.
I have my own GoPro, can I shoot the jump?
No, unfortunately for security reasons you cannot shoot with a camera. To do this successfully you need a lot of jumps and knowledge. So let the professionals do the video, and you enjoy 200km/h.
Can I wear contact lenses?
Yes, we will provide you with goggles that will protect your eye from the wind and be able to see well from above. It is important to tell your instructor that you wear contact lenses.
Can I scuba dive before I jump?
You need to wait at least 24 hours between scuba diving and sky diving to prevent decompression. It is very important to inform the instructor about your condition.
Is there a weight limit?
If the tandem passenger is over 95 kg up to 115 kg, the tandem instructor makes a safety assessment of the jump. Over 115 kg is not allowed.
What is the cost of the jump?
The price for this pleasure is MKD 12300. For an additional 1,200 denars, you get a shot from the air, and for a further 300 denars, you get a t-shirt.
